KESALAHAN SINTAKSIS BAHASA JEPANG DALAM TERJEMAHAN MAHASISWA DI PROGRAM STUDI DIPLOMA III BAHASA JEPANG UNIVERSITAS HARAPAN MEDAN
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the syntactic errors of Japanese language in the translation of the students in the Diploma III Japanese language course Harapan University Medan. The object of this study is the Japanese Language students in the amount of 20 people. This research used error analysis method. The theory used in this research is Ellis's error analysis theory (1987). In this study, we found a syntactic field error that includes syntax errors made by students covering misuse of particulars and particles in percentage of 36.61%. This error was due to the inaccuracy and regularity of the function of the verb and particle. The percentage of phrase structure error, and clauses and sentences were 30,98%. This error occurred due to misplacing and forming the structure of phrases, clauses and sentences. Misuse of word order of numbers in the percentage of 4.22%. This error occurred because it was not exactly in use and put the position of the word number.
